Hi, Iām Alex!

AuDHDer, Marketing Mentor, Mushroom Witch
…business life coach, RN, and founder of Neurodivergently Yoursš.
Qualifications:
- Running my own business as an AuDHDer
- 17+ years mentoring folks in high stress environments
- Life coaching, digital and email marketing certifications
- 18+ months doing ADHD marketing and consulting
- BSN degree and Registered Nurse for 11+ years
Clearly Iām funny and I have AuDHD.
But I’m also trained to:
- See the person behind the problem
- Triage issues and prioritize safety
- Hear what you arenāt saying
- Sit with you when itās uncomfortable
- Assess first to ask better questions
- Critically think about your blocks
- Help you find solutions youāll use
And nurses are the GOAT at spotting nuance and important messagesābecause patient lives can depend on it.
Had a patient tell me once:
āher legs was like two tobacco sticks rattlin around in a tin can.ā
Yeah, I had fun figuring that one out. š¤¦āāļø
TLDR: In nursing, missing tiny details can be the difference between a good outcome and a bad one.
And that makes me a hell of a coach.
Because your details fucking matter.
About Me
I got my ADHD diagnosis as a 7 year old girl in the 90s. But it was just a label. I didn’t understand what “ADHD” meant, and frankly no one else did either. Especially not in girls.
I tried the patience of adults, and over time, I internalized what they said. I.e., the lazy, stubborn, stupid narrative.
It was like other people had rulebooks for life, but somehow I got skipped over. I figured everyone else had my same issues, but they just coped better. Maybe because they got a rulebook. I struggled in relative silence for a long time.
I got my nursing degree at 28. Felt like I’d finally “made it.”
Yeah…made it right to multiple instances of burnout. Although my outsides and circumstances “looked good,” internally, I was falling apart. I felt like such a failure.
And things just got worse. Eventually, I was having panic attacks every morning before work.
Something had to change. So I took a mighty leap of faith and started my own business. The learning curve was basically a vertical line, but it was worth it.
Freedom. Breathing room. Choice.
Today I get to practice self-acceptance and choice in a business I love.
And I’m obsessed with helping neurodivergents like me find that freedom, too.
If this is hitting home
for you, I’d love to talk.
Fun Facts About Me:

- I’m a past theater kid, who loves painting miniatures and playing Dungeons and Dragons. I’m a bard, obviously.
- I have 2 black rescue dogs. Seymour and Jody. They’re good boys. Kind of. Jody is smelly. And Seymour likes to eat my notes.
- I’m also master of puns and silly jokes. When does a joke become a dad joke? When it becomes apparent!
(That’s hilariousāand no, I’m not sorry!)
My friend, I’ve got all the puns.
You can call me butter cuz I’m on a roll.

Iām the introvert hanging out with pets at parties.
So, if chatting feels like too much, I get it.
Itās safe to hang out here. š
